About Happy Heinys: Happy Heinys was founded in January 2002 after the premature birth of Linda Byerline’s daughter. It was a business created out of necessity to help with the chronic lung disease and allergy to disposable diapers that her daughter had. Since 2002 Happy Heinys has moved from a corner in the living-room to a large building in El Cajon(San Diego) where all of their products are made by hand by seamstress and fellow mothers. Happy Heinys is proud to be one of the last remaining Reusable Diaper manufacturers that are wholly made in the USA, with only fibers and materials made in the USA(with the exception of importing Hemp material from China), all products are manufactured in their facility just 2 miles from the owners home.
Due to the way Happy Heinys are manufactured the company is able to make special diapers for special needs. The company works closely with families who have children affected by EB, spica casts, down syndrome, g-tubes, premature babies, bed wetters, and older children with diapering needs.
